Description
This is a Canada-compliant, I-CAB recognized safety training course intended for learning general workplace safety guidelines . Topics covered in this training include management leadership, employee participation, hazard identification and assessment, hazard prevention and control, education and training, monitoring and evaluation, and coordination for multiemployer worksites. This course meets the classroom requirement for occupational safety training. It also includes a proficiency checklist that employers can use to perform a practical evaluation. Upon completion, trainees will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card to show that they have completed Canada Intro to Safety and Health Programs training.

NOTE: Only an employer can designate an employee as certified. Certification requirements can vary by state or province. Check local standards for any additional occupational training requirements.
