Description
This is a Canada-compliant, I-CAB recognized safety training course intended for anyone in a maritime situation where someone has gone overboard. Topics covered in this training include prepare, prevent, hazards, mob, and rescue. This course meets the classroom requirement for occupational safety training. It also includes a proficiency checklist that employers can use to perform a practical evaluation. Upon completion, trainees will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card to show that they have completed Canada Maritime Man Overboard training.

NOTE: Only an employer can designate an employee as certified. Certification requirements can vary by state or province. Check local standards for any additional occupational training requirements.
