Description
This is a Canada-compliant, I-CAB recognized safety training course intended for anyone in a maritime situation where mooring lines are used. Topics covered in this training include equipment, mooring arrangements, mooring forces and stability, safe operations, and hazards. This course meets the classroom requirement for occupational safety training. It also includes a proficiency checklist that employers can use to perform a practical evaluation. Upon completion, trainees will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card to show that they have completed Canada Maritime Mooring Lines training.

NOTE: Only an employer can designate an employee as certified. Certification requirements can vary by state or province. Check local standards for any additional occupational training requirements.
