Canada - Bear Awareness (SP056)


Description
This is a Canada-compliant, I-CAB recognized safety training course intended for all people who recreate or work in bear country. Topics covered in this training include bear identification and behavior, basic defensive measures, bear encounters, and safety practices. This course meets the classroom requirement for occupational safety training. It also includes a proficiency checklist that employers can use to perform a practical evaluation. Upon completion, trainees will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card to show that they have completed Canada Bear Awareness training.

NOTE: Only an employer can designate an employee as certified. Certification requirements can vary by state or province. Check local standards for any additional occupational training requirements.
